William H. Whitehill, Jr.

William H. Whitehill, Jr. focuses his practice on taxation, civil tax controversies, real estate, commercial litigation, and general business law. A certified public accountant (inactive), he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to complex legal and financial matters.

Bill has represented buyers, sellers, tribal governments, and corporate entities across a wide range of industries and transactions—from hospital sales and business reorganizations to IRS controversies and tribal tax matters. His clients benefit from his deep experience in tax law, business structures, and regulatory compliance.

He has appeared before the U.S. Tax Court, multiple federal district courts, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has also advised on the formation of employee stock ownership plans and the negotiation of real estate, financing, and commercial lease transactions.
